This event is the Wild at Heart Boot Camp at our Office starting Thursday night January 16 at 5:00PM through Saturday night after dinner. Session 1 Thursday night (January 16) is approximately 2.5 hours. Session 2, Friday (January 17), is 9.5 hours. Session 3 Saturday (January 18) is 9.0 hours. Two weeks after completion of Wild at Heart Basic we offer 2 follow up group sessions Thursday evenings. All sessions are held at our Montgomery, Texas office. Who is it for? Men who: Don’t feel a comfortability at church or with others in the church Are going through a transition or difficult season in their life Want to know what God says about us as men Have read Wild at Heart and want to experience more How much? $180 for the weekend including all meals How many will be in attendance? 6-8 men plus 2 leaders What is the format? Large group time, individual journaling time, and some group discussion time Is there prep work or follow up? We encourage you to read Wild at Heart and A Knight in Rusty Armor as well as after the event you are invited to come to 2 group sessions at our office. We also hold weekly men’s group meetings that attendees are welcome to come to. Wild at Heart Boot Camp isn't just another men's retreat. That's the last thing anybody needs. The reason most messages for men ultimately fail is simple: they ignore what is deep and true to a man's heart and try to shape him up through various forms of pressure. Not this. This weekend is an honest, no-BS trek into the deep passions and desires of a man's heart, the healing of the wounds he's taken in this battle, the realm of fatherhood and sex and God and calling—life as it was meant to be lived. Through the sessions, times of quiet reflection, movies, adventures and downtime, you will discover something profound about the heart of God and the heart he gave you as a man. Those who come say it is one of the greatest weekends of their entire life.
